Production Manager – Manufacturing & Packaging

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Production Manager to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing and packaging operations within the Lactam Value Stream. The role ensures safety, quality, and supply targets are met while fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise operators and technicians in production and packaging activities, ensuring compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ALCOA++ standards.
• Monitor and improve safety performance, lead incident investigations, and drive HSE initiatives.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly production schedules, track OEE, yield, downtime, and material utilization.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Warehouse, and QA to guarantee material and equipment readiness.
• Conduct line clearance, in‑process checks, and documentation reviews with QA.
• Identify deviations, support CAPA implementation, and ensure timely closure of QMS actions.
• Maintain readiness for internal/external audits, self‑inspections, and validation activities.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects aimed at productivity, waste reduction, and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
