Project Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join AECOM’s Abu Dhabi team. In this role you will drive the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from concept through hand‑over, ensuring client expectations, schedule and budget are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee projects across all lifecycle stages, from planning and design to construction and handover, maintaining alignment with client objectives and financial constraints.
• Maintain transparent communication with clients, design teams, procurement, cost engineers, planners, construction crews and H&S personnel to coordinate execution and resolve issues promptly.
• Administer contracts, manage obligations and stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
• Control scope changes through formal change‑control procedures, assess impacts on schedule, cost and quality, and keep comprehensive documentation.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, identify new business opportunities and support business development initiatives.
• Analyze project risks, implement mitigation strategies and oversee quality‑assurance processes to meet project standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure or construction projects in a consultancy environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess risks, scope changes and financial impacts.
• Commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
