Project Manager – Energy Storage Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale energy storage projects across the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa. You will act as the main coordination hub between customers and internal teams from opportunity to contract signing and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle: opportunity initiation, solution design, bidding, negotiation and contract signing.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and coordinate sales, technology, R&D, supply chain, finance and legal teams to produce technical solutions, quotations and risk analyses.
• Gather and track customer requirements covering technical, commercial, grid‑connection, performance guarantee, localisation and after‑sales aspects.
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to technology, cost, delivery, certification and contractual liability.
• Participate in customer technical meetings, workshops and business negotiations, ensuring accurate communication of needs and solutions.
• Organise hand‑over to the execution team after contract signing, delivering complete documentation of requirements, schedule, risks and open issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Energy Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in new energy, power, energy‑storage or EPC sectors, preferably in pre‑sales, bidding or large‑scale project management.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, risk management and cross‑department coordination abilities.
• Fluent English with proven ability to lead client and internal meetings and produce clear reports and presentations.
• Willingness to be based in Dubai or Saudi Arabia and travel across the target regions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of large‑scale energy‑storage components: battery compartments, Power Conversion System (PCS), Battery Management System (BMS), Energy Management System (EMS), grid‑connection, RTE and availability metrics.
• Ability to interpret customer technical specifications and assess key project risks.
