Project Manager - Infrastructure Design

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Project Manager (Infrastructure Design) in Abu Dhabi to manage, review, coordinate and supervise the delivery of infrastructure design for land development projects. The role acts as the company representative with the client and selected subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during program execution
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors
• Market and secure additional work with the client
• Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project
• Work with other managers, project engineers and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules and plans, and ensure the project meets or exceeds them
• Monitor and report on project progress, milestones and any conditions affecting cost or schedule
• Manage infrastructure design for a specific portfolio, including wet and dry utilities design and roads and transportation design
• Handle stakeholder management

Required profile

• Degree in engineering from a recognized university
• 12-15 years of experience in major infrastructure for land development projects
• Prior experience writing design reports
• Experience obtaining NOCs from clients
• Familiarity with regional standards and guidelines
• Candidates with prior UAE experience, particularly in Abu Dhabi
