Project Manager, PDS Projects

About the role

JLL is hiring a Project Manager for PDS projects in Dubai. The role oversees all aspects of construction execution for a mixed-use development, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. It involves coordinating residential, commercial, retail and hospitality components while complying with Dubai Municipality regulations and international best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction operations from mobilization through handover
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software, coordinating with all stakeholders to hit milestones
• Set up project governance and reporting protocols aligned with client requirements
• Act as the main contact between client, consultants, contractors and subcontractors
• Administer construction contracts under FIDIC or other applicable frameworks
• Coordinate main contractors and specialty subcontractors across multiple building types and systems
• Run regular progress meetings and keep communication channels open
• Enforce quality control, run site inspections against approved drawings, specifications and building codes, and identify risks with mitigation plans
• Monitor site health and safety compliance with Dubai Municipality and client standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of construction project management experience, including at least 5 years on hospitality projects
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in the UAE or GCC
• Track record delivering complex multi-discipline projects with residential towers, retail podiums and associated infrastructure
• On-site position in Dubai, ARE

Required skills

• Preferred: PMP, RICS or equivalent certification
• Understanding of construction methods, building systems and sequencing for mixed-use developments
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and cost control systems
• Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage
