QA/QC Engineer - Fire and Gas

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will support fire and gas projects by ensuring that all quality and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with operations, construction, and client teams, you will manage documentation, inspections, and corrective actions to deliver a compliant final dossier.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit QA/QC documents, review vendor submissions, and issue RFIs.
• Develop Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and method statements based on contract specifications.
• Monitor implementation of IMS/QMS procedures, report deviations, and ensure statutory inspections are performed.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, third‑party auditors, subcontractors, and principal contractors.
• Identify and report non‑conformities, verify corrective and preventive actions, and maintain related records.
• Inspect incoming materials, in‑process work, and final products; ensure equipment calibration.
• Prepare quality reports and the final quality dossier for client hand‑over.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of QA/QC experience in construction or fire‑gas projects.
• Familiarity with QHSE policies, IMS/QMS, and contractual quality requirements.
• Ability to work onsite in Abu Dhabi and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
