QA/QC Engineer - High-Rise, Residential & Villa Projects

About the role

A leading contracting company in Dubai, working on high-rise building, residential and villa projects, is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer. The role ensures that construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, approved drawings and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures at site
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports
• Review project documents, method statements, ITPs and material submittals
• Coordinate with consultants, project engineers and site teams for inspections and approvals
• Monitor the quality of civil, structural and finishing works
• Check that materials received at site meet approved specifications and standards
• Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain quality records, reports and documentation, and assist in audits
• Monitor testing activities and support project handover documentation and final quality inspections

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction projects
• Experience in high-rise, residential and villa projects preferred
• UAE contracting experience preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures and documentation
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ITPs and method statements
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
