Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will safeguard product quality for core and digital banking solutions. You will test new and existing features, validate system integrations, and support fast, reliable delivery of enhancements and innovations.

Key responsibilities

• Review business requirements, functional specifications and design documents to identify gaps, ambiguities and testing risks.
• Design, maintain and execute functional and automated test cases, test data and reusable scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing, analyse results and document findings for stakeholders.
• Identify, analyse and raise defects early using logs, analytics and testing insights.
• Plan and support end‑to‑end testing across all phases for new features, enhancements, integrations and releases.
• Monitor application, server and integration logs, investigate errors and collaborate with developers on resolutions.
• Work closely with developers, analysts, product owners and other stakeholders to reproduce issues and improve testing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, both manual and automated.
• Hands‑on experience testing iOS and Android native mobile applications.

Required skills

• Functional, regression, integration, acceptance, performance, API and microservices testing.
• Automation tools/frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, K6.
• Performance testing tools: Apache JMeter, K6.
• API testing tools: Postman, Swagger.
• CI/CD integration: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Programming/scripting: Python, JavaScript.
