Recruitment Officer

About the role

We are a leading UAE group operating in construction, steel, aluminium, painting, coating and road maintenance. We are looking for a proactive Recruitment Officer to manage the end‑to‑end hiring process for blue‑collar workers across multiple specialisations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for blue‑collar positions, handling a high volume of international applications.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Screen, interview and assess applicants to ensure technical fit and cultural alignment.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
• Maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and internal policies.
• Build and sustain relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards and other sourcing platforms.
• Provide regular recruitment activity reports to the HR Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of recruitment experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Proven track record in high‑volume blue‑collar hiring.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
