Regional Sales Lead - Testing, Inspections & Certifications

About the role

A global testing, inspection and certification company, headquartered in Europe and operating in more than 60 countries, is looking for a Regional Sales Lead based in Dubai. Reporting to the Global Head of Sales, you will drive new business across the Middle East, Africa and India and lead a team of 8, contributing to regional revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Account for achieving, measuring and monitoring all sales targets and KPIs within the region
• Drive geographic expansion into new markets across the Middle East, Africa and India
• Implement governance-compliant processes, policies, tools, concepts and projects in the region
• Set up the sales organizational structure and define how to build clusters for Area Sales Managers, field sales, inside sales and sales support
• Derive and implement regional sales strategies and manage target setting, steering, monitoring and coaching of sub-regional and area sales managers
• Reduce, optimize and monitor internal sales costs, and trigger and track sales campaigns with stakeholders such as marketing
• Drive key account management and tendering, and facilitate global and regional master service agreements with large customers

Required profile

• Above 8 years of experience in testing, inspections and certifications (TIC)
• At least 3 years of leadership experience as Senior Manager for large teams
• Experience in new business development and business expansion
• Stakeholder management, negotiation and consultative selling expertise
• Sales planning, pipeline management and opportunity qualification
• Profit and loss report interpretation
