Reservation Manager

About the role

The Reservation Manager oversees daily reservation activities to ensure timely responses, accurate guest information, and optimal revenue performance. Working closely with senior management, the role balances operational efficiency with high‑quality guest service in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Check reservations daily for compliance, maintaining minimum response times.
• Verify guest details, rates, and payment methods to ensure reservation quality.
• Plan and organise daily operations using strong organisational skills.
• Deliver on‑the‑job and weekly training for reservation staff.
• Assist the Director of Revenue in optimising sales revenue and pricing strategy.
• Maintain communication with senior management and keep staff informed of hotel and company updates.
• Spot‑check previous‑day reservations and monitor VIP arrivals.
• Motivate and develop staff to increase productivity and morale.
• Ensure security of customer and personnel information.

Required profile

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reservation handling.
• Ability to train, supervise and motivate a team.
• Flexible and proactive attitude with a customer‑service mindset.
