Resort Pool Attendant

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the UAE set to open in 2027, is looking for a Pool Attendant to join its Pool Services team. The role covers guest service, pool area presentation and support for VIPs and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, lounger and umbrella positioning and special requests, and provide towels, water and other amenities promptly.
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve minor issues professionally and use guest names and preferences to personalize service.
• Set up, arrange and maintain loungers, umbrellas, towels and daybeds, and keep the pool deck clean, organized and safe.
• Support VIP arrivals, special requests, celebrations and daily opening, operating and closing procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns and guest experience opportunities to supervisors and operational teams.
• Maintain inventory of towels and amenities, complete checklists and track sheets, and promote pool, cabana and resort offerings.
• Collaborate with Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Security and other departments, and support lifeguards and the Pool Services team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in aquatics, recreation or physical education preferred.
• Lifeguard, pool safety or first aid certification is an advantage.
• At least one year of experience in hospitality, guest services, pool operations, beach clubs, recreation or luxury resort operations preferred.
• Previous luxury hotel, resort, beach club, pool or recreation guest-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings, and to engage a diverse international clientele.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of pool, seating or guest management systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Familiarity with luxury hospitality service standards preferred.
