Restaurant Hostess – Guest Experience Specialist

About the role

The role involves being the first point of contact for guests at a busy restaurant, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage the reservation system and organise bookings.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate menu options and answer guest questions.
• Assist with seating and monitor guest comfort.
• Handle guest complaints professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall restaurant organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a restaurant hostess or similar role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of restaurant operations and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
