Restaurant Manager - Arabic Concepts

About the role

Kitopi, a tech-powered multi-brand restaurant group operating 200+ locations across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of its restaurant. The manager ensures smooth operations, maintains high service standards, drives sales and profitability and leads the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and lead, coach and motivate the restaurant team
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness and guest experience
• Monitor sales, costs, wastage and profitability; drive sales through upselling, promotions and customer engagement
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, performance and manpower needs
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and resolve them promptly
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety standards
• Monitor inventory, stock movement and wastage, and maintain equipment and facilities
• Prepare and review operational reports on sales, labour and inventory
• Coordinate with kitchen, central operations, supply chain and other teams
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee engagement
• Implement company policies, SOPs and procedures, and conduct regular inspections

Required profile

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Arabic cuisine, fine dining or upscale dining/hospitality, with significant managerial experience
• Strong experience in Arabic/Lebanese cuisine and elevated dining concepts is highly preferred
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Knowledge of restaurant operations and front-of-house service
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic operational reporting
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
