Restaurant Manager – Em Sherif Sea Café

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations of Em Sherif Sea Café, ensuring efficient, profitable service while maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and health & safety across both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including budgeting, staffing, procurement, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Control FOH and BOH performance, monitor product quality, hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare monthly reports on sales, performance versus forecasts, and operational concerns for senior management.
• Oversee procurement cycle, inventory control, waste management and cost optimisation.
• Lead, train, evaluate and motivate staff; conduct briefings, performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Handle guest service from arrival to departure, resolve complaints and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years as Restaurant Manager or 5 years as Assistant Manager, preferably in Lebanese/Oriental cuisine.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage safety, HACCP guidelines and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of basic finance and accounting principles.
