Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

Kitopi, a tech-powered multi-brand restaurant group operating cloud kitchens and dine-in restaurants across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor. The supervisor leads the restaurant team during their shifts, ensures service meets company standards and supports the Restaurant Manager in reaching operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations and lead, guide and motivate the team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, SOPs, food safety, hygiene and health and safety policies.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle complaints and service recovery, and allocate staff and floor coverage.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, monitor attendance, grooming and punctuality, and coach team members.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, service standards and cleanliness, and coordinate with the kitchen and other departments.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with cash handling, POS operations, daily closing and reconciliation, and prepare shift reports.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members and help achieve sales, productivity and cost-control targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a restaurant, café or hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and front-of-house service.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, leadership and team-management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic operational reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and solve problems quickly.
