Retail Sales Person

About the role

An energetic, customer-focused Retail Sales Person is sought in Dubai. The role covers assisting customers, promoting products, reaching sales targets and delivering an excellent shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in the showroom or store
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
• Explain product features, benefits, pricing and offers
• Achieve individual and store sales targets
• Handle customer inquiries and build relationships to generate repeat business
• Prepare sales quotations and invoices and follow up on orders
• Maintain product displays and keep the showroom tidy
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for order processing
• Handle cash and card payments and keep accurate sales records
• Keep up to date on product knowledge, market trends and competitors

Required profile

• Minimum 2-5 years of retail sales experience
• Preferred: experience in furniture, office furniture, interior products or building materials, and UAE retail experience
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills
• Ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of English; other languages are an advantage
