Revenue Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Revenue Accounting Specialist provides revenue accounting services for a portfolio of hotels across the Middle East and Africa, supporting the UAE Finance Centre of Excellence. Working remotely, the role ensures accurate revenue posting, compliance with Hilton standards, and timely reporting to both hotels and government authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate all revenue postings and prepare Daily Income Audit Reports for assigned hotels.
• Approve Daily Income Audit bundle reports and follow up with hotel teams to ensure required documentation is uploaded and approvals are secured.
• Post revenue and process reallocations based on authorized finance leads' requests.
• Reconcile revenue‑related taxes and report them to hotels for government submission.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for revenue‑related accounts.
• Reconcile daily credit‑card activity, post related receipts, and resolve variances in collaboration with COE and hotel teams.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement and automation opportunities.
• Support additional finance initiatives as required.

Required profile

• High school graduate minimum; university degree or accounting qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience as a General Accountant or Income Auditor; combined experience in both roles is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English; French or Arabic is a plus.
• Proactive, inquisitive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Navision finance system.
• Experience using OnQ/OA.
• Advanced Excel skills.
