Sales Accountant – High Volume Billing

About the role

The Sales Accountant is responsible for high‑volume customer billing within the sales division, ensuring accurate issuance of hydrocarbon invoices and service bills in line with ADNOC Distribution policies. The role supports revenue protection, internal controls and provides financial insights for the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate sales transactions in SAP, generate AR invoices, credit/debit notes and service invoices on scheduled billing cycles.
• Monitor and reconcile sales data, resolve pricing or cost‑estimate issues, and ensure timely submission of invoices to sales managers.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard revenue, support audits and provide regular billing reports.
• Collaborate with IT, finance and sales teams to integrate invoice data, track performance KPIs and address customer billing inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience in a similar high‑volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to adhere to policies and handle discrepancies promptly.
