Sales Accountant

About the role

The Sales Accountant supports the Sales department by handling all accounting functions related to sales transactions, collections, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate processing of receipts, commissions, and escrow-related activities while maintaining compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Generate daily sales collection receipts from SAP and deposit them in the bank.
• Calculate commissions and process broker/staff payments according to agency agreements.
• Review Sales Purchase Agreements (SPAs) for compliance with sales policies.
• Perform daily bank reconciliation for all sales project accounts.
• Reconcile customer balances monthly and provide reports to escrow agents and auditors.
• Prepare monthly sales reports covering units sold, collections, SPA status, and outstanding balances.
• Process post‑dated cheque withdrawals, handle bounced cheques, and coordinate with the collection team.
• Maintain the sales finance vault, manage late‑payment fee waivers, and oversee DLD fee collection.
• Ensure accurate documentation of cheque details, third‑party declarations, and receipt vouchers.
• Align occupancy/availability lists between sales reports and SAP, and support process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using CRM systems for financial transactions.
• Strong bank reconciliation and escrow account handling abilities.
