Sales Assistant - Retail (IKEA Dalma)

About the role

The Sales Assistant works in the market hall area of the IKEA Dalma store, supporting the shopkeeper with operational duties such as arranging products and keeping the sales floor tidy. The role is about generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience, meeting sales targets and working well within a sales team. It suits someone who enjoys talking to customers and is comfortable standing for long hours and lifting stock.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organised store and represent the brand and company positively
• Meet or exceed weekly sales targets and help achieve financial goals
• Take part in market hall inventories and keep stock well managed
• Attend store meetings and follow the designated work schedule
• Greet customers warmly and give them accurate product information

Required profile

• High school degree
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift stock
• Good verbal communication and a customer-focused attitude
