Sales Associate

About the role

The Sales Associate represents the brand and drives store sales through exceptional customer service and a strong retail experience. The role also supports store maintenance and visual presentation standards as directed by the store manager.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist them in product selection, and convert window shoppers into buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
• Follow the GUEST selling methodology: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all brand products for suggestive selling.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to layout and visual‑merchandising guidelines, and record inventory movements.
• Operate the POS and billing counter efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, vouchers and issuing accurate receipts, refunds and change.
• Perform cash‑till reconciliation at the start and end of each shift.
• Adhere to security, SOP and loss‑prevention policies, and keep sales figures confidential.
• Work flexible shifts, including extended hours during sales periods and overtime as required.

• Presentable, well‑groomed and professional appearance at all times.
• Flexible availability for extended hours and varied shift patterns.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to minimise stock loss.
• Attention to detail and vigilance regarding store security.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
