About the role
The NMDC Group is seeking a qualified Second Officer to join its fleet. You will be responsible for safe navigation, watchkeeping and supporting anchor handling operations under the master’s direction.
Key responsibilities
- Perform sea, port and anchor watches according to master instructions.
- Plan voyages and maintain the Log Book.
- Correct and order charts, nautical publications and other IMO‑required documents.
- Supervise and check navigational equipment, lights and day marks.
Required profile
- High School Diploma.
- Officer of Watch Unlimited certificate (II/2).
- Minimum 2 years experience as Second Officer on anchor‑handling tugs.
- Good English communication skills.
