Section Manager - Electrical

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Section Manager to lead the electrical MEP installation for a high‑value data centre project in Abu Dhabi. You will drive daily productivity, quality, and safety while ensuring the scope is delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Issue daily/weekly installation plans, region/zone/trade allowances and progress feedback.
• Brief teams on Method Statements, Risk Assessments and DSTI schedules; keep documentation up‑to‑date.
• Track material deliveries with Project Engineers and ensure timely receipt at site stores.
• Distribute approved drawings/specifications and manage change requests through Change Management Control.
• Maintain accurate site records of resources, tooling, consumables and coordinate access with subcontractors and vendors.
• Collect and report staff performance data, KPIs and efficiency metrics each month.
• Promote safe working practices, a zero‑defect mindset and adherence to project guidelines.
• Support testing, commissioning, spares and warranty schedules in collaboration with engineering and QA/QC teams.
• Provide regular progress, risk and mitigation updates to the Construction Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing MEP installation works on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent understanding of QA/QC standards, safety regulations and contract specifications.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
