Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role within the Accounting team, supporting all aspects of accounting and internal controls. You will work closely with Finance, Legal and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing systems, assess risks and design appropriate internal controls to protect company assets.
• Independently manage accounting, compliance and audit activities for smaller legal entities.
• Provide Finance with timely information and analysis.
• Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate compliance efforts with the Legal team and relevant ministries.
• Conduct ledger scrutiny and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Commerce with solid accounting knowledge.
• 3‑4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving and presentation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
