Senior Cloud Security & DevSecOps Engineer (Contract)

About the role

A hands-on engineering role securing cloud platforms, applications and CI/CD pipelines in a regulated banking environment. The position is a 6-month contract based in Dubai, working closely with engineering teams to implement security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across Azure and/or AWS, covering IAM, least privilege, encryption, secrets management and monitoring
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning)
• Secure Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform-based infrastructure
• Fix vulnerabilities in applications, APIs and dependencies alongside development teams
• Contribute to threat modelling, risk assessments and security design reviews

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT/security experience, including 4+ years in cloud security or DevSecOps
• Hands-on cloud security experience in Azure and/or AWS
• Proven DevSecOps implementation in production CI/CD environments
• Banking or financial services experience

Required skills

• Kubernetes, Docker and container security
• Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code
• Solid knowledge of IAM/RBAC, encryption, secrets management, API security and OWASP
