Senior Financial Negotiations & Debt Resolution Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to own and resolve complex B2B cases involving overdue receivables and financial obligations from our partners. The role focuses on strategic negotiation rather than traditional collections, requiring a blend of diplomacy, persistence, and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with company partners on overdue and problematic receivables.
• Communicate directly with business owners, senior executives, and C‑level decision‑makers.
• Investigate root causes of outstanding debt and assess willingness and ability to pay.
• Develop tailored negotiation and recovery strategies for each case.
• Identify leverage points, propose realistic compromises, and negotiate repayment terms and schedules.
• Document agreements, monitor compliance, and re‑engage when commitments are missed.
• Handle high‑pressure, conflict‑prone situations while maintaining professionalism.
• Escalate cases to internal resources when negotiation alone is insufficient.
• Maintain full ownership of each case through to actual debt recovery, including face‑to‑face negotiations and travel as needed.

Required profile

• Strong track record in complex B2B negotiations and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with the ability to assess financial and reputational risks.
• Independent, results‑oriented, and comfortable taking full ownership of difficult cases.
• Excellent communication skills, able to adapt tone from collaborative to firm as required.
