Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer - Hospitality

About the role

A well-established hospitality group in Abu Dhabi, represented by Black Pearl Consult, is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and improve the group's IT infrastructure across its hospitality operations. The role covers secure, reliable and high-performing IT services that support both business operations and guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and data centre environments.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers and access points.
• Administer Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, NAT, URL filtering, IPS and threat prevention.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and file services; support VMware or Hyper-V.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Support hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, guest Wi-Fi, IPTV, VoIP, CCTV and access control.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology projects, and work with vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams and SOPs, provide Level 3 support and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, hospitality group or luxury property).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication and stakeholder management.
