Senior Manager - Logistics

About the role

Julphar is hiring a Senior Manager of Logistics in Ras Al Khaimah. The role leads the strategic direction, transformation and operational excellence of all warehouse operations, including direct and indirect materials, and distribution centres across multiple locations. It drives digitalization, automation and continuous improvement, optimizes end-to-end supply chain processes and represents the logistics function in executive forums.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long-term logistics strategy and champion automation, robotics and advanced WMS/ERP integration
• Lead large-scale projects such as expansion, consolidation and process reengineering
• Set and monitor KPIs for cost, service, safety and compliance, and oversee multi-warehouse operations and SOPs
• Direct risk management, business continuity and crisis response, and ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, GSP and EHS standards
• Lead audits, regulatory inspections and remediation programs
• Build and mentor a leadership team, drive succession planning and lead change management
• Represent logistics in management forums and manage relationships with vendors, regulators and logistics providers
• Drive green logistics and waste reduction, and oversee budget planning and spending
• Ensure EMS and HSE compliance, lead incident investigations and corrective actions, and improve environmental performance

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy required; a Master's in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field is a plus
• 15+ years in warehouse, logistics or supply chain management, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles
• Proven track record leading multi-site operations and large-scale change initiatives
• Experience leading teams of 100+ employees across multiple locations

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of SAP and advanced warehouse management systems
• Expertise in budget management, cost reduction and regulatory compliance
• Advanced certifications such as CSCP, Lean Six Sigma or PMP preferred
