Senior Manager - Projects

About the role

The IT Senior Project Manager leads the end‑to‑end delivery of critical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. The role coordinates stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to achieve business‑aligned outcomes and oversees safe deployment with full operational handover.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery strategy for assigned programs and application initiatives (ERP, CRM, HCM, SaaS, integrations, workflow platforms).
• Establish project governance, including steering cadence, decision forums, change control, RAID standards and acceptance criteria.
• Drive portfolio alignment by managing dependencies across applications, data and shared platforms.
• Partner with business, architecture, security and data teams to ensure solution designs meet enterprise standards.
• Lead vendor delivery, monitor SOW/SLA adherence, track milestones, budgets and commercial aspects.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, document functional and non‑functional requirements, and define scope and baseline plans.
• Manage system design coordination, build/config oversight, integration, environment readiness and release planning.
• Plan and execute UAT, defect triage, and business sign‑off processes.
• Oversee data migration, cut‑over runbooks, rollback planning and go‑live readiness.
• Ensure service transition through training, knowledge transfer, SOP creation and hyper‑care support.
• Maintain strong project controls: weekly status, RAID logs, dependency tracking and issue escalation.
• Lead a matrix team of analysts, developers, integration engineers, QA, business SMEs and vendors.
• Standardize delivery templates and improve release predictability and operational stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT and certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 and Agile (CSM/PSM/SAFe).
• Minimum 10 years of experience delivering enterprise application programs with full scope, schedule and budget ownership.
• Preferred 15 years of experience in large‑scale ERP/CRM/HCM implementations.
