Senior Operations Manager

About the role

Emrill Services seeks an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracts, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, strong client relationships, and operational excellence across technical, housekeeping, security and support services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of IFM services in line with contracts, SLAs, KPIs, company procedures and statutory requirements.
• Manage multiple FM contracts safely, efficiently and profitably, developing Contract Management Plans and continuous‑improvement strategies.
• Monitor performance, challenge metrics, drive service improvements and foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Lead multidisciplinary site and IFM teams, ensuring consistent operational standards and driving initiatives for efficiency, energy reduction and cost optimisation.
• Implement and utilise CAFM systems for proactive and reactive performance reporting.
• Develop workforce, succession, training and career‑development plans, set objectives for direct reports and promote a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification; engineering degree preferred, MBA advantageous.
• IOSH certification essential; NEBOSH preferred; membership of a recognised professional body, ideally progressing towards chartered status.
• Minimum 3 years senior management experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of managing multiple FM/IFM contracts.
• Strong client management, operational leadership, people management and commercial performance experience.
