Senior Planner - Fashion Retail

About the role

A full-time Senior Planner position in Dubai within the retail fashion industry. The candidate must be based in the UAE. The role covers seasonal merchandise planning, sales forecasting and open-to-buy across departments, categories and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Develop seasonal merchandise plans, sales forecasts and OTB by department, category and store
• Partner with Buying, Allocation and Marketing to align assortment plans with financial targets
• Analyze sell-through, markdowns and stock levels and recommend actions to maximise profitability
• Lead pre-season planning and in-season reforecasting
• Manage inventory flow, intake and exit strategies to optimise working capital
• Prepare weekly and monthly business reviews and present them to senior leadership
• Mentor junior planners and allocators

Required profile

• 5-7+ years in Merchandise Planning, preferably in fashion/apparel retail
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Fashion Merchandising or a related field
• Commercial mindset able to turn data into actionable strategies

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
• Planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, JDA
• Retail KPIs: sell-through, WOS, GMROI and markdown optimisation

Salary: AED 12,000-14,000 all in.
