Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure & Master Plan

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Senior Project Manager for a transportation infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The role leads multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery in line with contractual requirements, approved budgets, schedules, quality standards, HSE requirements and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute project activities from inception to completion, managing resources, construction activities and progress, and coordinating with Abu Dhabi authorities and the client
• Coordinate design consultants, construction teams, contractors and authorities; review engineering deliverables and manage design changes
• Support FIDIC and infrastructure contracts, review variations, claims and change requests, and manage cost and contractual risks
• Develop and monitor project schedules, identify schedule risks and coordinate construction sequencing and interface management
• Act as main point of contact for stakeholders, lead client meetings and communicate status, risks and opportunities
• Identify and manage technical, commercial, operational and schedule risks, maintain risk registers and lead risk reviews
• Ensure compliance with specifications, QA/QC procedures, inspections, testing, commissioning, handover and close-out
• Champion HSE compliance with project plans, client requirements and UAE regulations, and take part in safety walks and audits
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, set objectives, mentor staff and plan resources
• Monitor KPIs, prepare executive updates, and manage interfaces with underground infrastructure, utilities, traffic systems and adjacent projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline; Master's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering Management or MBA highly desirable
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred; CEng, PE or equivalent registration highly advantageous
• Minimum 20 years of experience in major infrastructure and transportation projects, minimum 10 years in project management roles
• Experience delivering projects valued at USD 100 million+; previous Abu Dhabi, UAE and GCC infrastructure experience highly preferred
• Experience in consultant, PMC, client-side or major contractor organisations desirable
