Senior QA Automation Engineer – Fintech (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and scale an automated testing strategy for a mobile banking application and its serverless backend. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering financial‑grade reliability for global payment flows in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale automated test suites for contract and payload validation across REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket interfaces.
• Develop comprehensive end‑to‑end mobile automation scripts to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Validate complex serverless backend flows and event‑driven architectures.
• Verify the accuracy and security of digital‑asset payment rails and cross‑border transaction engines.
• Implement automated testing for real‑time systems, including streaming updates and AI‑integrated interactions.
• Integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable zero‑regression deployments.
• Leverage AI‑driven development tools to enhance test coverage and accelerate regression detection.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering with a focus on automation.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript‑based testing frameworks.
• Extensive experience with mobile end‑to‑end automation tools and API contract testing.
• Strong understanding of serverless, event‑driven architectures and backend validation.
• Background testing financial applications, payment processors, or digital wallet systems.
• Nice to have: experience with blockchain transactions, stablecoin payment infrastructure, and AI‑assisted development environments.
