Senior QA/QC Engineer - High-Rise Construction

About the role

Danube Properties is hiring a Senior QA/QC Engineer for its Projects Onsite department in Dubai. The role oversees and enforces quality standards across all high-rise construction activities, reporting to the Project Manager. It ensures compliance with client specifications, UAE regulations and international best practices, and drives continuous improvement toward defect-free structures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures and inspection checklists for high-rise projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, material testing and workmanship audits.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and consultants to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly QA/QC reports to senior management.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements and material submittals.
• Monitor compliance with UAE building codes, fire safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and ensure readiness for client and regulatory inspections.
• Mentor junior QA/QC staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 10-12+ years of QA/QC experience in large contracting firms within the UAE.
• Extensive experience on high-rise construction projects.
• Professional certifications such as QA/QC Engineer, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, civil works specifications and safety standards.
• Ability to work on-site under demanding schedules and conditions.
