Senior Sales Engineer - Oil & Gas Wellhead Equipment

About the role

A client based in Dubai is looking for a Sales or Senior Sales Engineer for wellhead equipment and upstream oilfield solutions across the MENA region. The role covers sales development, strategic marketing, key account management, tender support and market expansion targeting drilling contractors, EPC companies and oilfield service providers. It is an on-site position in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: develop and execute regional sales strategies, identify new opportunities in upstream oil and gas, manage relationships with drilling contractors, EPC contractors and distributors, conduct client visits, technical presentations and commercial negotiations, and maintain sales pipelines.
• Key account management: build long-term relationships with strategic customers and channel partners, coordinate with engineering, supply chain and after-sales teams, and engage regularly with procurement, drilling and operations departments.
• Tendering and proposal support: support RFQs, RFPs, vendor registrations and prequalification, and coordinate with technical and commercial teams on proposals.
• Digital and corporate marketing: run LinkedIn campaigns and email marketing, help update the website and product catalogues, and represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events.
• Reporting: prepare monthly sales forecasts and marketing activity reports, track leads and conversions, and monitor competitors, new well counts and upcoming upstream projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in oil and gas equipment sales and marketing.
• Proven track record in the MENA region.
• Knowledge of wellhead systems and chemical injection skids, and electronic control systems, preferred.
