Senior Specialist - Commercial Transport Activities

About the role

The Senior Specialist will support the development and implementation of commercial and logistics transport licensing policies, systems and revenue mechanisms. The role focuses on ensuring compliant, efficient and customer‑focused operations while aligning with the Authority’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of licensing policies, processes and technical manuals, ensuring alignment with legislation and international best practices.
• Coordinate the issuance of NOCs, permits and advertising authorisations for commercial transport activities, working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Study and propose new revenue streams, financing options and fee‑structure alternatives for transport licensing projects.
• Lead vehicle replacement mechanisms and support licensing transactions for commercial transport fleets.
• Monitor and follow up on implementation of approved technical initiatives to enhance licensing services for franchise companies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Transport or Logistics Management.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with a Master’s degree (or 8 years with a Bachelor’s degree) in a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Recognised compliance or regulatory certification; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Professional transport or logistics certification such as APICS or CLTD.
