Senior Specialist Consultant – Emergency Medicine (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Specialist Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join a reputable government healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality emergency care, managing acute and critical conditions, and supporting a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress and strokes.
• Perform emergency evaluations, stabilization, resuscitation and life‑saving interventions.
• Prioritize patient care through effective triage and coordinate referrals with intensive care, surgical and other specialist teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to department protocols and participate in audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognised medical degree with postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine.
• Senior Specialist or Consultant‑level clinical experience in emergency care.
• Current life‑support certifications such as ACLS and ATLS.
• Eligibility for UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, German Board or equivalent qualifications.

Required skills

• Advanced emergency assessment and triage.
• Resuscitation techniques (ACLS, ATLS).
• Trauma management and acute care procedures.
