Service & Training Technician – Gas & Flame Detection

About the role

Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection is seeking a Service & Training Technician to provide on‑site and remote support for its fixed and portable gas and flame detection solutions across the Middle East. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role combines technical service, commissioning, calibration and customer training to ensure safe and reliable operation of our systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote installation, commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of fixed and portable gas detection and flame detection equipment.
• Provide comprehensive service and maintenance training to end‑users, distributors, system integrators and EPC partners.
• Conduct product training sessions and hands‑on workshops for customers throughout the region.
• Offer after‑sales technical support and assistance, including remote diagnostics and field visits.
• Collaborate with regional distributors, service partners and internal global service, product management and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in gas detection, flame detection or related safety instrumentation.
• Willingness to travel across the Middle East and occasionally to other regions (S.E.A., Africa).
• Strong communication skills to deliver training and support to diverse customers.
• Based in the UAE, preferably Abu Dhabi.
