Shipping Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Shipping Coordinator to manage daily outbound shipping operations. You will ensure shipments reach customers, agents, and stockists on time while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare airway bills (AWB), bills of lading (BL), delivery advice and other shipping documents.
• Verify sender/recipient details, product descriptions and shipping instructions for accuracy.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders to execute shipments smoothly.
• Enter shipment data into ERP/WMS systems, perform validation and clean‑up.
• Track shipment progress, resolve delays or discrepancies, and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, Free Zone requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain organized filing and archiving of all shipping records.
• Investigate and resolve shipment‑related issues, handling inquiries and coordinating resolutions.

Required profile

• High school certificate, diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics or supply‑chain operations.
• Familiarity with courier, freight forwarding or logistics processes.
• Experience preparing AWB, BL and other shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
