Site Engineer

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a Site Engineer to lead the execution of building and villa‑compound projects in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with the project team to ensure daily site activities align with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations, guaranteeing work is performed according to approved designs and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site teams to maintain smooth execution.
• Monitor construction progress and provide daily reports to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and local authority regulations.
• Support short‑term planning, sequencing, and look‑ahead schedules.
• Identify technical issues, report deviations, and assist in their resolution.
• Participate in inspections, snagging, and hand‑over activities.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily logs, and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in construction projects within the building sector and villa compounds.
• Proven experience on UAE projects, preferably with exposure to Abu Dhabi.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations is an advantage.
