Site Supervisor - Aluminium & Glass Installation

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Site Supervisor in Dubai for aluminium and glass installation projects, such as curtain walls, windows, doors, skylights and cladding. The supervisor oversees site activities, leads the installation teams and ensures work meets approved drawings, method statements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all site activities for aluminium and glass installation, including curtain walls, windows, doors, skylights and cladding, in line with approved shop drawings, method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily tasks with subcontractors, site workers and the internal project team.
• Manage and direct installation crews, foremen and labourers; run daily toolbox talks, allocate manpower and monitor productivity.
• Ensure team members follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Monitor quality, carry out site inspections and report non-conformities to the Project Engineer.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and report incidents or unsafe practices.
• Maintain daily site logs and progress records, and report site status, material and manpower needs to the Project Manager.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and clients when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in the aluminium and glass or façade industry in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, glass types, fixing methods and façade installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and installation details.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email) for reporting; UAE driving licence is an advantage.
