Specialist Consultant – Maternal & Fetal Medicine (UK CCT)

About the role

A leading UAE healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Consultant in Maternal & Fetal Medicine with a UK CCT qualification. The role involves delivering specialist care for high‑risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions within a multidisciplinary obstetrics and gynecology team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level management for high‑risk and complicated pregnancies.
• Conduct comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasound and fetal surveillance.
• Diagnose and manage fetal abnormalities and coordinate multidisciplinary care with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists, radiologists and other specialists.
• Participate in case discussions, clinical governance, teaching, research and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• UK CCT in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with recognized subspecialty training in Maternal & Fetal Medicine.
• Specialist registration with the relevant UK medical authority.
• Post‑CCT experience in Maternal & Fetal Medicine, preferably in a tertiary‑care or fetal medicine unit.
• Eligibility for DOH/DHA medical licensing in the UAE.
