Staff Nurse – Obstetrics & Gynecology Clinic

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide direct, patient‑centered care in the ObGyne Clinic, supporting a wide range of women’s health procedures. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver age‑specific nursing care using the nursing process and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Assist and coordinate a variety of gynecological procedures, including colposcopy, cryotherapy, endometrial biopsy, Bartholin cyst excision, cervical cerclage and polyp removal, implant and IUD insertion/removal.
• Perform Cardiotocography (CTG) monitoring and support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Document all patient data accurately in the medical record and maintain required supplies and equipment.
• Participate in unit meetings, committees, continuous quality improvement activities, and mandatory education programs.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards and safe handling of controlled substances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum 3‑year program) or equivalent two‑year degree.
• Valid nursing license/registration in home country or last place of employment.
• Minimum two (2) years recent post‑graduate experience in an Obstetrics and Gynecology setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is essential.
• Ability to assess physical and psychological needs of patients and families.
