Stocker – Receiving & Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Stocker is responsible for managing all documentation and physical handling of goods entering the store. This includes verifying deliveries, checking product quality, and ensuring proper storage conditions in a food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and containers for hygiene and safety compliance.
• Verify that incoming raw materials are clean, dry, undamaged, pest‑free and within required temperature ranges.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to confirm raw‑material compliance before acceptance.
• Segregate, label and arrange damaged or non‑conforming items and coordinate returns with the Storekeeper and Purchasing Manager.
• Ensure all required documentation (e.g., Phytosanitary Certificates, Certificates of Analysis) is received prior to acceptance.
• Unload, tag and store approved materials according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and hygiene of receiving and storage areas.
• Support Human Capital initiatives by identifying training needs and delivering on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Technology or Business Administration.
• 6–12 months experience in receiving, warehousing or inventory control within manufacturing or food production.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability and ability to work cross‑functionally.
