About the role
NIGM LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Abu Dhabi who is skilled in concrete and steel design, structural analysis and temporary building systems. The engineer should be proficient in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD and UAE building standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design concrete and steel structures using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD and SAP2000
- Apply ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode and UAE authority standards
- Produce concrete and steel detailing
- Design temporary structural systems and modular building supports
- Coordinate with architects and MEP by interpreting their drawings
- Consider geotechnical factors in foundation design
- Work with consultants and contractors in the UAE
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5 to 8 years of experience in permanent structures
- 5+ years of experience in temporary building design
