Talent Acquisition Specialist – Technology, Media & Content

About the role

We are building AI‑native teams across technology, media, content, growth and creative production. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will design and own the hiring process for highly specialised roles that require genuine AI fluency.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for technology, media, journalism, content, growth, creative and production functions.
• Source, assess and evaluate candidates for roles such as software engineers, journalists, editors, narrative producers, video creators, visual designers, production specialists, distribution leads, growth analysts and intelligence researchers.
• Verify AI‑tool fluency through portfolios, workflow demos, work samples and practical outputs.
• Build structured hiring pipelines and processes from scratch.
• Partner directly with founders on every hire, without layers or committees.
• Define role‑specific “AI‑fluent” criteria and design screening methods.
• Maintain a live pipeline of talent across the target functions and use AI tools daily to source and screen faster.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience focused on technology, media, content, journalism, growth or creative roles.
• Proven track record hiring across at least two of the following: software development, automation, journalism, editorial, content production, video production, social media, visual design, growth marketing, data analytics, creative technology.
• Experience building or scaling a hiring function in an early‑stage environment.
• Hands‑on daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Perplexity, n8n or Make.
• Ability to review portfolios, workflow demos, video or writing samples and assess real skill versus superficial usage.
• At least two relevant recruiting roles held for 2+ years each.
• Based in Dubai or able to relocate immediately.
• Fluent English.
