Talent Sourcer

About the role

The Talent Sourcer will proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for Gartner’s business units. You will use a variety of sourcing techniques to uncover passive and hard‑to‑find talent, ensuring a steady flow of prospects for current and future hiring needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage passive candidates through online databases, social media, Boolean searches, cold‑calling and networking.
• Expand and nurture talent networks via user groups, blogs, industry events and professional communities.
• Craft compelling outreach messages that communicate Gartner’s value proposition.
• Pre‑qualify candidates by reviewing profiles, conducting trait assessments and behavioral interviews.
• Maintain a robust talent pipeline aligned with both immediate openings and long‑term hiring plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1‑4 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Strong research and candidate generation abilities.
• Business development or sales experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern direct‑sourcing techniques and a willingness to adopt new methods.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Boolean search and advanced internet sourcing.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to build and maintain professional networks.
• Comfort with social‑media platforms for recruitment.
