Technical Manager - High-Rise, Residential & Villa Projects

About the role

A leading contracting company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to oversee the technical side of its projects, including high-rise buildings, residential developments and villa projects. The role covers design coordination, technical compliance and smooth execution, and suits someone with strong experience in construction methodologies and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all technical activities across the project lifecycle.
• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers and project teams for technical approvals.
• Review and resolve design issues, RFIs and technical queries.
• Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Manage shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical submissions.
• Provide technical support to project teams and site operations, and coordinate MEP, structural, architectural and other disciplines.
• Identify technical risks, monitor design changes and variations, and support value engineering and construction optimization.
• Ensure documentation complies with UAE standards and regulations, and assist in project handover and final documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in technical management for construction projects.
• Strong experience in high-rise, residential and villa projects.
• Proven experience with main contracting companies in the UAE is preferred.
• Experience managing technical teams and coordinating with consultants.
