Technical Product Manager - Emirati National

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for an Emirati national Technical Product Manager based in Abu Dhabi. The role is the product owner for product data and machine learning (ML) evaluation for Ask, leading a data and evaluation squad and partnering with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers and platform teams to deliver measurable, safe and delightful AI features.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product data stack end-to-end across squads: telemetry, event schemas, tracking plans, data quality, warehousing and metric accessibility for on-premise and SaaS offerings.
• Define the product metrics framework (north stars, input metrics, leading indicators) and help stakeholders build reliable dashboards.
• Build and own ML evaluation loops, design and analyse A/B tests, and help create a framework for testing customer agents and hyper-parameters.
• Ground pricing strategy in data by analysing feature/cost relationships, developing value-based pricing models and creating metrics.
• Handle event naming, governance, PII handling, retention and privacy-by-design with Security and Legal teams.

Required profile

• 5-8+ years of experience in product roles with a strong engineering or data background (software, data engineering, ML engineering, analytics engineering).
• Proven ownership of instrumentation, analytics and experimentation for a product or platform.
• Practical experience with ML-powered products and their evaluation (offline test sets, online metrics, drift and monitoring).
• Strong product sense and stakeholder management, able to drive clarity across PM, DS, Eng and executives.

Required skills

• Deep comfort with SQL and experimentation statistics (power, MDE, CUPED, guardrail metrics).
• Able to sanity-check analyses and run them independently.
• Comfortable using AI tools to prototype analyses or small utilities (e.g. generating code for ETL, dashboards or validators).
